Nothing brings me more joy than organizing. Whether I'm looking at information in front of me, or the space around me, I find an outlet for creativity. You take something valuable, look at it with fresh eyes, and after a while you realize that this part belongs here, and that belongs there and this could be simpler, and this more clear. Eventually, everything finds its home, whatever it is. It ends up where its meant to be, and you can feel more relaxed and at ease.
I've been honing these skills for as long as I can remember. When I was a kid and my mom would ask me to clean my room, I would l start by reorganizing drawers, closets, and cabinets. Everything had to be put away properly. I refused to shove items in random places just so I could dust and vacuum quickly. As a teenage volunteer I tackled church youth rooms, an attic file room at Operation Breakthrough, and the decor aisles of Habitat Restore all with that same attention to detail.
In my early twenties I was coaching tennis at my high school alma mater and I couldn't help but take on "the cage", our team storage unit that hadn't been sorted through in years. Uncovering cool vintage jackets and uniforms while tossing broken equipment, and making it easy to access the equipment we used every day. Those same skills helped me to organize a binder so I could keep a season's worth of player information, parent release forms, practice, and match scores in one place
.At the restaurant, I've brought these same skills to the table. I've overhauled storage behind the bar, at the host stand, in the basement, and the kitchen. I rearranged the dining rooms to improve the balance and work flow. As far as communication management goes, I created a training system and supporting materials from scratch. I built a new website, regulated daily and weekly cleaning tasks, and reorganized our US Foods order form to coordinate with the online management system.
In my spare time, I've created FullerOrganization.com to document my work experiences and help friends and family get #fullyorganized. Now I am looking to make a real business out of helping whoever needs me. Whether you're a writer with a passion project that needs a second set of eyes (like my uncle), if you need some help moving in to your new kitchen (like Taylor and Sabrina), want someone to lead your garage or basement cleanout (like Kimi and my mom) , or if you are a business owner with a project in mind that matches my skillset, I just might be your gal.
